Hypothecation Removal Process: How To Apply

Steps for submission of Hypothecation Removal application:

Navigate to https://parivahan.gov.in/parivahan/
Go to Online Services -> Vehicle Related Services
Enter vehicle registration number and click on proceed
Once you see vehicle services, again go to Online Services -> Misc
Fill Registration Number, Chasis No(last 5 digits) and Mobile Number
Click Generate OTP
Submit valid OTP, you received on mobile in order to proceed
On submission of valid OTP, you will able to see vehicle details along with hypothecation information.
Fill current valid insurance details and required fields
Proceed with the payment of fees (Rs. 250), might be somewhat different for other locations.
After successful payment, take two printout of e-FEE Receipt
You will also receive an email as well as sms on registered mobile number

Points to remember while filling up online form:

Fill valid insurance details [Insurance expiry date should be at-least 1 month greater from the date of request submission]
In online form, when you click on Terminate button, you need to fill end date of hypothecation contract. Enter or Select same date when you received Bank NOC.
